In this video shot in Brazil's Pantanal wetlands, a jaguar is hunting along the river bank when he spies a caiman. The jaguar, in a surprise attack, makes quick work of his unsuspecting prey.

It's incredible that in one bite, the caiman, (a relative of crocodiles and alligators), is completely incapacitated. While it's the video doesn't give give a reference to the size of the caiman, this one was likely at least 6-10 feet long.

When you think about the fact that a South American jaguar will eat over 80 different species of animals, to attack something so large and kill it so quickly makes you really respect this big cat.
