This year's Super Bowl broadcast could attract an entirely new, younger audience this year as Idina Menzel, star of the Disney hit movie 'Frozen' will sing the national anthem.

Menzel was the voice of Elsa the Snow Queen in the movie 'Frozen', and sang the Academy Award winning song 'Let it Go.' She was also in the Disney film 'Enchanted', and has a recurring role on the FOX television show 'Glee.'

Menzel is a talented singer who should be able to pull of what appears at times to be an extremely difficult task. Just check out this national anthem performance by Noelle Scaggs at the frigid NFC playoff game between the Packers and the Cowboys. It's the worst national anthem performance in recent memory.

According to Yahoo's celebrity news, the talented pop singer John Legend will perform America the Beautiful during the Super Bowl pre-game activities on the February 1 broadcast on NBC.

Award-winning singer Katy Perry will provide the halftime entertainment along with an appearance by Lenny Kravitz.
