How to Core A Head of Lettuce – Fast and Easy!

It's not the biggest crisis currently facing Americans, but knowing how to quickly and easily core a head of lettuce is certainly a valuable skill to have.

I have to confess, I never knew this possible. My mind never comprehended the idea that  I didn't have to cut the core out of a head of lettuce. One good slam on the counter and that lettuce core is ready to be plucked from the head.

All these years I have been risking personal injury to myself when it was completely unnecessary. Salad preparation just got a whole lot easier.
