How Not to Open a Bottle of Champagne With a Saber [VIDEO]

There are all kinds of videos with awesome ways to open wine and champagne bottles. This, unfortunately, is not one of them.

You can be successful with Sabering, or Sabrage as experts call it, as shown in this tutorial video.

While the demonstrators in either one of these videos failed to used safety glasses or some light gloves, I highly recommend them just in case your first few tries don't go as planned. The last thing you want to do is end up in the emergency room explaining why you got all cut up trying to duplicate something you saw in a YouTube video.
