House Flies Bugging You? Try This Simple Inexpensive Fly Trap

I've noticed as the weather has started to cool a bit, the flies around my house have really started to migrate indoors which is really starting to bug me. If it's happening to you too, try building this fly trap you can make with just a few household items.

Since most people don't keep Vegemite on hand, I recommend using a piece of raw beef.  Some people say adding a just a pinch of yeast also helps. Keep in mind the flies are attracted to rotting meat, so it may take a day or two if you have this indoors.  Where this fly catcher works really well is outside around trash cans and near the doorways and windows where the flies are getting into your house.

If you're uncomfortable with having small pieces of rotting meat hanging around, you can head to the local hardware store and buy a commercial attractant that can be mixed and poured into the jug instead.
