Friday, February 12:
Rainbow Prom. This is a chance to take that special someone in your life that you always wished you could, to prom. The theme is "The Lost City of Atlantis." There will be prizes and giveaways the whole night, and the 4th annual prom is hosted by the 2014-2015 prom King and Queen. Can you become the King and Queen for this year's prom?
Jerry McClaskey Exhibit Reception 2 - 4 p.m. Paintings are by veteran Jerry McClaskey Exhibit Reception at the Help Hospitalized Veterans Arts & Crafts Center. You can look around and appreciate his art at no cost to you. His exhibit will be on display 2/12-4/22.
Saturday, February 13:
Tim + Richard at 8:00pm. This duo will be throwing a party for both the singles and couples the day before Valentine's Day. Great atmosphere to hang out and enjoy the friends, family, loved ones, or even strangers, around you, at no cost to you. Their genre encompasses acoustic, rock, gypsy, folk, jazz, blues, and more.
Senior Valentine's Dance 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Live performance from the 12-piece band Clark Gault's Swing City Express. On top of the dancing, there will be hors-d'oeuvres and two included drinks from the bar with the ticket purchase.
Sweet Heart Run and Health Expo. Race in the 5k or 10k and check out the vendors at the Health Expo afterwards. Best dressed couple wins a 32" flat screen TV. There will be an after party with music provided by local artist Shea Bramer.
Grand Junction Police/Fire Department Broomball Tournament 4 p.m. The Police and Fire departments of Grand Junction will compete on the Glacier ice Arena in their annual Broomball Tournament. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Delaney Donates Foundations.
Sunday, February 14. Valentine's Day:
Kissing Couple Rock Formation Hike on February 14 from 10 a.m. -2 p.m. Stop in front of the rock towers knows as "The Kissing Couple" and get your picture taken in front of it. Be active this Valentine's Day at the National Monument.
Valentine's Sweetheart Skate February 14 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. $15 admission includes skating for 2, skate rentals, and 2 hot chocolates.
