Grand Junction Weather is Perfect for a July 4th at the Pool

The weather couldn't be better in Grand Junction for a day at the Lincoln Park Pool to celebrate the 4th of July.

With afternoon highs expected to be in the upper 90s on Saturday, it should be a perfect day to cool off at the Lincoln Park Pool, and to take advantage of the special admission price of $2.39, in honor of America's 239th birthday.

Saturday is normally a free admission day for the kids anyway, so it also makes it an inexpensive - and safe way - to enjoy the water.

The pool will be open from 11am  until 7:30pm. so take note of the earlier-than-normal opening time. And, of course, you can enjoy the huge slide at the pool which is completely awesome.

Some families take advantage of the opportunity to let the kids have some fun --and also set up in a choice spot at Lincoln Park to view the fireworks at Suplizio Field later in the day.

The weather will be absolutely perfect for a day at the pool-- just don't forget the sunscreen.
