Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra Making Groundbreaking Improvements
This is a great day for the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra as groundbreaking begins on the historic Avalon Theatre and as they receive their new 9-foot Baldwin grand piano.
The public is invited to the groundbreaking celebration today (July 25) at 4pm at the Avalon Theater. Work began yesterday for the highly anticipated upgrade to the historic theater.
In addition to a new venue, the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra has received their new piano,a 9-foot Baldwin concert grand. The symphony would like to acknowledge the Bacon Family Foundation for the grant, and Keyboard Carrier of Denver for the delivery.
