Grand Junction Store Sells $133.2 Million Winning Powerball Ticket

Someone who shopped at a Grand Junction convenience store bought a jackpot winning Powerball ticket and is now $133.2 million richer.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Lucky Me Convenience store at 2902 F (Patterson) Road. The winning numbers are 17-18-24-25-31, Powerball 24, and Power Play 2

That lucky person wasn't the only Grand Junction winner in Saturday's (September 16) drawing there were also winning tickets sold at the Walmart Neighborhood Market at 541 Warrior Way and the Safeway store at 681 Horizon Drive.

The Walmart ticket holder won $100,000 and the ticket bought at Safeway is a $50,000 winner.

The winners were announced in a series of three Tweets on Twitter Saturday night. One of the Tweets stated,

There must be something in the water, because we had 2 more big Powerball winners & they were both sold in GJ!"

The Colorado Lottery will announce the winner's names when they come forward to claim their prize.
