If you love shredding - not the snowboarding kind -  or have ever felt you really need to shred things but are overwhelmed by it, then the Shredding Party on Saturday (April 25) is the place to be.

The Rotary Club of Grand Junction is having their first ever Shredding Party in the parking lot at Two Rivers Convention Center for individuals or businesses who have sensitive documents they no longer need.

Bring the paper you need to shred to the party and Colorado Document Security will shred it into small unrecognizable confetti-like pieces.

The party is a fundraiser for the Grand Junction Rotary Club, so they're asking a $5.00 donation per bankers box of paper to shred. The funds raised will benefit Mesa County Partners, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.

If you can't stick around for the party, just drop-off your donation and documents for shredding and be on your way. E-waste, except for televisions, can also be dropped of at the event.

The Shredding Party runs from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Saturday April 25 in the parking lot at Two Rivers Convention Center at 2nd Street and Colorado Avenue.
