Grand Junction Senior Fair Offers Plenty for the ‘Young at Heart’

If you are a senior citizen, even if it's only by age, the annual Senior Fair is a great place to learn things that make being mature a lot of fun.

The Senior Fair is Friday (October 21) at Two Rivers Convention Center from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The free fair will have entertainment and seminars throughout the day as well as a number of interactive exhibits and vendors.

Attendees can also enjoy everything from blood pressure checks to free massages. Women attending the event can also get a complimentary nail polish.

Seminars offer financial information including estate planning, the economy in an election year and planning for long-term care.

Those with health care questions can get answers at seminars discussing Medicare and the key information needed to navigate health insurance upon retirement.

Other seminars and exhibitors will provide information on diet, exercise, pain management, mental health and more.

The St. Mary's Bloodmobile will also be on-site. Those who donate blood will get a free cholesterol screening.
