Grand Junction Says It’s Too Early for Christmas Decorations

I asked you on Facebook, "when do you decorate for Christmas and if it's too early to decorate now?"

Some of you are very zealous and are on the decorating train already.

Some of you don't decorate at all. I even got a "Halloween forever," comment that was written with some serious enthusiasm.

I'm not an Ebenezer Scrooge that says, "bah humbug" to decorating, but I really don't enjoy the whole decorating process.

Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas, I love driving around town looking at the lights. I even enjoy the Christmas tree after it's up and looks beautiful, but generally, I dislike getting everything out and then after Christmas putting everything away.

Just like Halloween, I'm "trying" to get better at this. I've been diving into the Hallmark movies as I did with the scary movies to see if that helps me any. I'm feeling confident that it will. 

Since the majority of you said that right now is WAY too early. I feel like I have time to prepare my heart and get in the mood to be invested with this challenge in my life.

The majority you said enjoy Thanksgiving, so that's what I'm going to do. Let's just hope I have that Christmas spirit after eating so much!

We'll see if I get it done this year, poor kids.
