Grand Junction Police Asking for Help Locating Car Thief

The Grand Junction Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Mesa County need help locating a possible suspect in a vehicle theft.

According to the Crime Stoppers report, between 10 p.m. Sunday, May 21 and 7 a.m. Monday, May 22 a suspect(s) stole an SUV from a residence in the 1600 block of North 18th Street.

The stolen vehicle is a white GMC Acadia with tinted windows and Colorado license plate A575406. The value of the stolen vehicle is over $16,000.

A photo of the suspect has been released in hopes someone will recognize him and inform the Grand Junction Police Department of his identity and/or whereabouts.

If the information submitted to Crime Stoppers leads to an arrest, the person submitting the information is eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000 and will remain completely anonymous.
