Grand Junction Organization Helps Youth
Would you like to help the youth of Grand Junction? Of course, you would! But finding a way to help is a struggle many of us face. But there is an organization here in Grand Junction that helps our youth with scholarships to allow them to participate in things that many of them would not get to do otherwise.
The organization is Grant A Wish and on Saturday, May 13th there is a fundraiser to help raise money for these kids. It’s called “Spike A Wish” and it’s a volleyball tournament that sounds like too much fun to miss.Teams of 2 or 6 will have a great time, raise funds for an amazing program and win schwag too!
First place is $1,000 CASH! And second place isn’t bad either. A raft trip for ten!
You have a choice between 2- player teams, or teams of up to 6. The cost is only $150.00 per team and it goes to help the Grant A Wish program, a local non-profit organization which works to get our youth engaged in programs that, for one reason or another, they are unable to afford.
The event will be held at Volley’s 1130 N 3rd St in Grand Junction.
Help the youth, help the community, and help Grant A Wish create leaders by joining the fun. Get your team together and help GRANT A WISH!
