Grand Junction Neighborhood Market Opening Draws Near

The opening of Grand Junction's new Neighborhood Market is drawing near.

The new Walmart store, located on the I-70 Business Loop in front of Central High School is set to open November 11 at 7:30 a.m.

Construction on the miniature Walmart began earlier his year with a target date set for sometime near the end of the year. That date has now been set for November 11, as signified by a banner on the Neighborhood Market sign.

The store will focus on groceries, prescriptions, and general merchandise as well gasoline.

According to KKCO, the store will employ about 95 people.
