Join the crusade to reduce diaper rash and keep Grand Junction baby butts drier by donating diapers.

While there's not a dirty diaper epidemic, there is a real need for disposable diapers for working parents facing financial difficulties and the inability to receive other assistance. These families can't afford to buy enough diapers to change them as often as recommended.

The diaper drive is a joint effort between the Diaper Depot and HOPE of the Grand Valley. There is an ongoing need so diaper donations are encouraged year-round.

Huggies, Love's and Pampers diapers newborn to size six are needed. The reason for the specific brands is they have proven to be the best for babies who may have to wear the diaper longer than is traditional between changes.

There are three donation sites in the Grand Junction area including;

  • First United Methodist Church - 522 White Avenue, Grand Junction
  • Grand Villa Assisted Living - 2860 North 15th Street, Grand Junction
  • United Methodist Church - 405 East Aspen Avenue, Fruita

Those interested in making cash donations or needing more information can contact HOPE of the Grand Valley at 970-778-4880.
