The Mesa County sheriff's Office is attempting to identify and locate the people involved in the theft and fraudulent use of credit cards.

The credit cards were stolen out of a car on January 28, 2017. The suspects then used those cards to make fraudulent purchases at several stored in Grand Junction including Walmart, Herberger's Victoria Secret and Lids.

The suspects also used one of the stolen credit cards to purchase over $900 of merchandise on February 1, 2017, at Herberger's.

One suspect was wearing a dark jacket, the other a yellow Lakers Kobe Bryant basketball jersey and a purple Lakers hat.

On January 29, Walmart surveillance video captured images of two suspects who made purchases using the stolen cards.

A third man may also be involved in the fraudulent purchases. He is described as a short-haired Hispanic male wearing a white top who was seen during one of the transactions.
