Grand Junction Alzheimer’s Walk Very Successful [photos]

The Grand Junction Walk to End Alzheimer's took place on Saturday at Long Family Memorial Park and was very successful.
Ed Chandler and I were on hand for the walk, the 12th straight year KOOL 107.9 has been the official radio sponsor of the event. There are so many great sponsors that support the event and contribute to it's success.

Several individual walkers came out to walk, while others had formed teams to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Association and walked together as a group.We even had some canines who came out for the walk. Altogether, and not counting dogs, there were 230 walkers who supported the cause, and raised nearly $30,000!
