Spray paint is a wonderful product to keep things looking nice, until some criminal uses it to intentionally deface someone else's property.

This week's Crime Stoppers Crime of the week tackles a specific instance, actually multiple instances, of spray paint used to vandalize property.

Sometime between October 26 and early October 27, one or more people spray painted graffiti on the Fruita Paleontological area entrance.

Around the same time, the same type of graffiti was also discovered in the McInnes Canyons National Conservation area along with vulgar language and images.

Crime Stoppers need your help identifying the person or persons responsible for the vandalism at both locations.

If you have information, contact Crime Stoppers at 241-STOP (241-7867). Information reported to Crime Stoppers is completely anonymous and if your information leads to an arrest you can earn up to a $1,00 reward.
