Since losing the only employee earlier this year, the Rifle Workforce Center has only been able to operate part-time. Now, thanks to a new employee, the center is back to work full-time.

The Workforce Center office will be staffed Monday through Friday rather than the two limited days a week it had been open over the last several months.

Hours will be 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Employers and job seekers can visit the office during those hours or set up a specific appointment by calling 970-625-5627.

Now that is back to a regular schedule, the Rifle Workforce Center can offer recruiting and employment screening of applicants, on the job training, incentives, and weekly Job Seeker workshops.

Workforce Center Interim Director Clark Becker explains what the center can do for people looking for jobs now that it is staffed full-time;

The focus is on meeting businesses' need for a skilled workforce and in providing the training, education and employment needs of job seekers who make up that workforce."

The Rifle Workforce Center shares a building with Farmers insurance at 216 West 3rd Street.
