GJ Thieves Targeting Women’s Underwear and Accessories

The Grand Junction Police Department has received numerous reports of women's underwear and accessories being stolen from homes.

Police say the homes that have been burglarized are in the southwest quadrant of the city, and in each case the residents have not been home. Women's underwear and other accessories, like shoes, have turned up missing.

The GJPD is actively investigating these reports with increased patrols in the area.

While these reports are originating from the downtown area, police are urging the public to report suspicious activity in any area of the city. Police  urge homeowners to always lock doors and windows, even when you are home.
