Would you like to spend five days cycling from Fruita, Colorado, to Moab, Utah, on the Kokopelli Trail? Me neither. Fortunately, two guys made the trip and were kind enough to video their adventures.

The Kokopelli Trail runs 142 miles from Colorado to Utah. The trail has been around since the late 1980's, created by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, the Colorado Plateau Mountain Bike Trail Association, and the United States Forest Service.

Five Days on the Kokopelli Trail, a film by Dwayne Burgess, is a fifteen-minute documentary documenting two cyclists who made the trip from New York just to ride the trail.

When it was all said and done, what were their estimates of the trail?

Kokopelli proved to be one of the toughest trails I’ve ever ridden. It was challenging in every way from the climbs, to the mixed terrain.

Five days is a long time to spend riding a bike through the often brutal terrain of Western Colorado and Eastern Utah. Since cycling of this nature is not necessarily most people's forte, perhaps it would be best to watch the video and let someone else do the pedaling.

The end credits of the film include a "Special Thanks" section, shouting out some Kudos to Greg at Over The Edge Sports in Fruita.
