A former Colorado Mesa University football player has signed an NFL contract with the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent.

According to Pro Football Talk, Zeth Ramsay, whose hometown is Gypsum, is one of 19 undrafted free agents signed by the Chargers.

Ramsay started 33 games for the CMU Mavericks at guard and tackle, after playing defense in high school.

Ramsay was an All-RMAC Second Team selection in 2015 and was the recipient of the "Maverick's Spirit of the Mav" award. Ramsay also earned All-Colorado Honorable Mention Academic Honors from the National Football Foundation.
