An expanded version of Fleetwood Mac's breakthrough self-titled album from 1975 is coming out in a couple weeks, but you can hear one of the set's many bonus songs now: an early take of Stevie Nicks' popular "Landslide."

Listen to this spare take of "Landslide" above.

The song comes from the Deluxe Edition of Fleetwood Mac's second disc, which includes live cuts and almost a dozen early versions of songs that ended up on the album – the band's 10th LP and first No. 1.

Fleetwood Mac's fortunes changed in 1975 after the British band enlisted a pair of California-based singer-songwriters – Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham – for their self-titled album. The LP spawned three Top 20 singles, the group's first Top 40 hits in the U.S., and, more than a year after its release, became the first of four chart-topping Fleetwood Mac albums.

The expanded Fleetwood Mac includes a remastered version of the original album, plus single edits of the songs "Over My Head," "Rhiannon," "Say You Love Me" and "Blue Letter," and previously unreleased live and alternate tracks recorded in 1975 and 1976.

The above "Landslide," which is referred to as an "early version," sounds a lot like the one that's become one of the band's most beloved songs over the years. A live version from 1997's The Dance reunion album was released as a single and just missed the Top 50. Both Smashing Pumpkins and the Dixie Chicks released popular covers of the song, with the latter's version hitting the Top 10 in 2002.

The three-disc Fleetwood Mac will be released on Jan. 19.
