Five Fun Things To Do In Grand Junction This Weekend
It is looking like a fantastic weekend in the Grand Valley, so if you are looking to get out and take advantage of it, we have five ideas of things to do this weekend in Grand Junction, including baseball, a concert, and a fun 5K.
The Partners Color Dash 5K is Saturday at Canyon View Park. Registration begins at 7AM with the run at 9AM. You will get a t-shirt, you will get colored, and you will have fun. Proceeds benefit Mesa County Partners.
The Boys of Summer are the top touring Eagles tribute band and they will be in concert Saturday night at Central Station in Grand Junction. If you love the Eagles, you will love the Boys of Summer. Show starts at 9PM and tickets are available at the door beginning at 7PM.
The 4th annual Western Slope Hog Panty Poker Run is Saturday with registration from 9AM-10AM at GJ Harley Davidson. $25 fee includes poker hand, panties, lunch at Enzo's in Clifton, and live music by the Goodman Band. Proceeds benefit Operation Interdependence and the HOG Toy Run.
The 12th annual Community Cat Care Fur Ball is Saturday 7PM-11PM at A Taste of Heaven on North Avenue in Grand Junction. The Grand Junction Rockies have a brief home stand with four games against Ogden beginning Thursday. Friday night's game begins at 6:30 with fireworks to follow. Saturday's game is at 7:05, and Sunday's game will start at 4:05.
