Festivals Come to Life in the Fall in the Grand Valley
The weather is starting to cool down and the leaves are changing colors. You know what that means, don’t you?
It is now time for the fall festivals to commence!
For the next couple of months, festivals will be going on all over the Valley. This is the time to head outside and enjoy your the color change and the fact that the temperature won’t melt your face off.
Take a look at some of these festivals that will be taking place right around the corner.
The Colorado Mountain Winefest is something you don’t want to miss. This is some serious fun with food and wine pairings and also chocolate and wine pairings. They also have a grape stomp which is so much fun to do. It’s almost like you’re making the wine for yourself. This is Colorados oldest and largest wine festival. You really don’t want to miss it!
The Fruita Fall Festival is right around the corner. This goes on every year with crowds getting bigger every year. There is so much to do during the festival it isn’t funny. You got a street dance, talent show, an outhouse race and so much more. They have live music and over 100 vendors for you to look at. This is the place to be before winter comes.
The Downtown Art Festival is amazing. This is where all the artist in the Valley get to show off their best work. Businesses are also getting involved by displaying art for you to see. On the 7th they will be putting up a temporary exhibit for everyone to see. This is the first Downtown Art Festival so head out and make it fantastic.
Oktoberfest: Amped is Oktoberfest like you know and love just amped up a bit. With some of the best craft breweries in the Valley showing up you know it is going to be a good time. Not to mention some food, yes including bratwurst that will make you want to drool as soon as you show up. This is an event where you can have fun and leave full.
