Tis' the season for all things family! I love this time of year, because we have some really fun Family Traditions . . .

My absolute favorite tradition is fairly new for our family, but we all get together with 3 generations to build & decorate Gingerbread Houses:

  1. Grandma
  2. Kids (me, my sis & brother)
  3. Grand Kids (me & my siblings kids)

I think this started because my and my siblings don't want to grown up.

But it's awesome! We always buy cookies for the kids to decorate so they're occupied while we build our gingerbread town.

Then my whole family watches as my and my siblings build crazy gingerbread concoctions.

I call them concoctions because it's not nearly as easy as it sounds and we each buy several kits: the house, the train, the Ninja, etc. then we piece them all together into some fantastic Ginger Town!

These amazing feats then stay up as decorations until February, when my hubby either shoots them to pieces with the pellet guns or blows them up with M80's!
