Fairytale Weather For This Year’s Parade of Lights
It may not have felt like Christmas Saturday night but it sure LOOKED like Christmas at the 29th Parade of Lights in downtown Grand Junction. Unusually mild temperatures brought record crowds out to see the sights and sounds of "A Fairytale Christmas".
Ed Chandler, Tommy Rocker, Mackenzie Dodge, and I, along with the KOOL Bee and Shrek and Fiona walked in the parade with the decorated KOO-Mobile.
Contrary to a rumor started by local on-air radio personality, Ed was not dressed as Sleepy, nor was I dressed as Tinkerbell. But, we did have a terrific time walking in the parade and greeting folks of all ages along the parade route.
Congratulations to this year's parade winners.
