The exhibit will showcase the artwork of Brevin Currier, Salina Kirk, Kirk
Shiflett, and Meril Wallace, and will encompass a variety of mediums including
printmaking, drawing, painting, and mixed media. In conjunction with the BFA
Senior Exhibition, work by the student artists will also be on display at the
Mesa County Libraries’ Central Branch in Grand Junction. Video interviews with
each artist will be available for viewing on the library website .

TETRAD can be viewed at 501 Colorado Avenue, a retro industrial building in
downtown Grand Junction, the use of which has been graciously sponsored by
Kelley Camp Resort and Spa. As part of their “Senior Seminar and Portfolio”
course, the student artists coordinated the exhibit as preparation for future
professional endeavors in the arts. Assistant Professor Heather Patterson
McCulloch has guided the students through the process of locating an art space,
finding sponsors, fundraising and budgeting, publicity, and installing the
exhibit. The end result is a unique exhibition that will showcase the
community’s emerging artists.

On Friday, April 4, there will be a public reception to view the exhibit and
meet the artists from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The reception will include live
music by the Corey Wright Band, food donated by Bin 707, and wine donated by
Garrett Estate Cellars. The exhibit is located at 501 Colorado Avenue, Grand
Junction, CO. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday, 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
and admission is free. For more information, call the Art Department at (970)
