A lucky dog in Steamboat Springs was thankful the animal control officer that saved them was not afraid of tight spaces.

A family was playing ball with its dog on Saturday when the dog became stuck in an underground pipe. The animal control officer, Krista Amatuzio, had to crawl through the 60-foot long pipe to get to the dog and return it safe and sound to its owners.

The video on the Steamboat Springs Facebook was captured by the body cam that a responding police officer was wearing.  All ended well at The Lodge at Steamboat condominium complex, but the dog might not be up for a game of fetch in the near future.
