Doctor is the World’s Most Respected Profession

It really should not come as a surprise that doctor is the most respected profession, but there may be a few surprises in the top 10.

According to PR Newswire ,a new survey indicates doctors top the list of the most respected professions. Next on the list is military officers followed by firefighters, scientists ,and nurses.

The survey simply asked which job they respect the most. Sixth on the list was engineer followed by police officer, religious figure, architect, and professional athlete.

Strangely enough, radio DJ didn't make the top 10, for like the 80th year in a row! Fortunately, we seem to have some good company. Real Estate agents came in dead last in the survey. Hey, at least they made the list.
