A driver who thought it was perfectly fine to crash into another car and then leave the scene without reporting it is now wanted by the Grand Junction Police Department.

According to Crime Stoppers of Mesa County, the hit and run occurred just before noon on December 11 at the 7th Street and North Avenue Dairy Queen restaurant.

The victim of the hit and run reported their red 2014 Honda CRV was struck by another vehicle while parked at the restaurant. Initial reports indicate the suspect may have been driving a white sedan with a damaged brake light.

The Grand Junction Police Department is looking for anyone who may have witnessed the hit and run or may know the identity of the driver who left the scene of the accident.
