Can you think of anything cooler in Colorado than being kissed by wolves?

Through the years, wolves have garnered a bad reputation, from the story of the Three Little Pigs to the big bad wolf in Little Red Riding Hood. Don't tell those stories to these wolves at the Rocky Mountain Wildlife Foundation in Guffey, Colorado, north of Canon City. Many of these wolves just need a little lovin'.

This wolf sanctuary provides a home and rehabilitation to wolves that have suffered injuries or neglect and abuse - and for some, it's a permanent home.

Of course, not all of the wolves are up to some friendly kissing, but many of them are and visitors to the sanctuary can interact with the wolves and enjoy the experience of a lifetime.

There is no charge for wolf visits, though they do accept donations to help keep the shelter going. You can schedule an appointment with the wolves by calling 719-660-5480.
