Colorado has some of the most beautiful scenery, awesome weather, and tons to do, but that doesn't always mean it's the safest place to live. There are wild animals that could eat you, and well, some of the state's towns can be pretty dangerous too. Here are the 10 most dangerous towns in Colorado.

It's true, even though these boroughs are quaint little towns, they all seem to have one thing in common ... crime.

RoadSnacks put together this list based on the FBI's Uniform Crime Report which looks at violent crimes such as rape, murders, robberies and aggravated assaults. They only looked at cities with a population of more than 5,000 people.

Looking at the list, three Western Colorado towns made the list. Vail landed at the number three spot, Grand Junction came in at number six and Glenwood Springs inched in at number 10.
