Grand Junction's rental prices are soaring much higher than the national average according to KKCO. But how high is too high?Apartment List is showing in a recent report that Colorado rentals are becoming way more expensive than the national average.

The report goes on to show that the rent in Colorado has soared 6.2 percent compared to other areas around the country who are at half of that rate.

The average 2 bedroom price is floating right around $1900 around the state, but here in Grand Junction, the average is about $650 to $700.

“Our workforce wages and our unemployment rate here is very different than what you would find in a Boulder/Fort Collins kind of market,”
