Colorado Mesa University's baseball team gave it everything they had in the NCAA Division II World Series baseball game, but it wasn't enough as the Mavericks lost to Southern Indiana 3-2 in 12 innings.

Colorado Mesa took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the third inning, and held that lead until the eighth inning when Southern Indiana tied the game. Southern Indiana scored their winning run in the top of the 12th inning with a bases loaded walk.
