Colorado Mesa Basketball Finishes 2013 at Home

Even though school is out for the Christmas holidays, Colorado Mesa University’s basketball teams still have one more weekend of games before their Christmas break begins.

CMU’s basketball teams (both men and women) will host Fort Lewis and Adams State this weekend at Brownson Arena.

CMU’s women’s team is one of 12 teams in the country that remains undefeated on the season, and the Lady Mavs hope to continue their winning streak this weekend.

Mesa’s men’s team is considered one of the top shooting (49%) teams in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. The Mavericks also rank second in the RMAC in rebounding defense and third in scoring defense.

Colorado Mesa will play Fort Lewis on Friday, and Adams State on Saturday. Women’s games are at 5:30 p.m. both nights and men’s games will follow at 7:30 p.m.
