Colorado Identical Twin Sisters Die Hours Apart

A double funeral was held this week for two identical twin sisters from Colorado who died on the same day, hours apart.

The funeral was held Monday in Wheatridge for 83 year  Helen Cook and Clara Mitchell, who were born in Ft. Lupton on January 2, 1932.

According to the Good Morning America report on Yahoo, Clara died on October 13 at a hospital in Lakewood, and 18 hours later Helen passed away less than 20 miles away at a retirement community in Centennial.

Clara Mitchell had suffered a stroke in 1977, and Helen Cook was diagnosed with Alheimer's Disease five years ago.

The funeral featured separate and combined eulogies and the twins were buried in different plots with their respective family members.
