‘Chasing Ice’ Captures Amazing Video of Huge Glacier Calving

The creators of the documentary 'Chasing Ice' captured on video the largest glacier calving every filmed. It is, as they describe it, both miraculous and scary as large masses of ice break away from a massive glacier.

The mission of 'Chasing Ice' is to discover and present evidence concerning global warming.  While that issue will continue to be debated long after we are gone, there is no denying the magnitude and awesomeness of this  incredible event.

At times it looks like an avalanche, and sometimes it resembles an earthquake. At the end of the video they put it into perspective just how big these masses of ice really are. It really is quite remarkable.

No pun intended, but this is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the awesomeness  ever transforming planet we call home.
