Watch this video of fly fishing for Grayling with Western Anglers on the Grand Mesa. See the snowing falling and me wading through crystal clear water -- and lots of grayling.

It was getting colder by the second as we climbed to over 10,000 feet on the Grand Mesa. When we (me, my dad and Tyler Morris from Western Anglers) arrived at our fishing spot, it was snowing.

I watched the snow falling as the fish were jumping. They love the cold and it shows.

Decked out in waders, gloves, a hat and more, I waded into the cold, clear water to make the perfect cast. The fish continued to jump and we continued to cast.

I hooked into my first grayling and I just could not believe it. Not only was it my first grayling, but it was also my first catch while fly fishing -- ever.

We kept casting and we kept hooking fish. My biggest catch was probably about one pound, keep in mind Colorado's state record is about the same. I've wanted to catch a grayling ever since I moved to Colorado. Hopefully, the next kind of fish I catch will be the glorious cutthroat trout. Think you can help me out with that, Western Anglers?
