Carolina Panthers’ Steve Smith’s Sharp Response to Stupid Question

Carolina Panthers' wide receiver Steve Smith was clearly not in the mood to answer dumb questions following Sunday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers  in the NFL Divisional Playoffs.  Smith offers to thump reporter on the side of the head.

It's tough when players and coaches have to talk to the media following a loss - especially when their team has just been bounced from the playoffs. Honestly, there is probably no such thing as a good question under those circumstances, but then there are just stupid questions.

The reporter that asks Smith who he's going to root for now that the Panthers are out of the playoffs, was left looking for a hole to bury his head.
