California peaches being sold in Colorado are being recalled due to possible Listeria contamination.

According to CBS 4 in Denver, Wawona Packing Company out of Cutler, California is voluntarily recalling fruit that was packed between June 1 and July 12.

The recall includes peaches, nectarines, plums, and pluots that could be contaminated with Listeria, which can cause serious infections in young children and the elderly and is sometimes fatal.
