Caddyshack Golf Scramble Just Got Better

The Caddyshack Golf Scramble coming up on October 15 at Redlands Mesa promises to be the funnest golf event of the year -- and it just got better!

It's 18 holes of golf in a scramble format - but with two-person teams competing in three categories - men, women, and couples. On the line will be $2000 in prize money. The shotgun start begins at 11:00AM.

It's a  Caddyshack theme, so colored and plaid pants and ugly hats are encouraged. There's even a prize for the ugliest hat!

After the scramble, golfers and their families will enjoy a taco bar provided by Costa Vida. (extra dinner tickets are available for purchase) Plus, there will be a silent auction, a putting contest, and a treasure hunt for kids.

Be Linguak Kids, Inc. is a non-profit dedicated to introducing Spanish at the elementary school level. The program is currently in place at Wingate Elementary in Grand Junction with hopes of expanding it to other elementary schools - and eventually to middle schools.
