Tom Brady didn't make it to Super Bowl 50, but you can bet he had an impact on at least one player who did.

Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson shared an Instagram post in which he thanked the New England Patriots quarterback for offering words of encouragement after the Broncos staved off the Pats in the AFC Championship Game last weekend.

It was a nice conversation between players who defied the odds to make it in the NFL -- Brady, the sixth round draft pick who led his team to four Super Bowl titles, and Anderson, an undrafted back out of California who has become a key cog on his team's run to the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

It sounds like it was a nice encounter, one which will make Brady supporters simply say, "See? He is a nice guy." Those who harbor disdain toward Brady, though, are bound to think it's a meaningless gesture and he's still nothing more than a smug cheater.
