When The Beach Boys 50th anniversary tour ended suddenly last September, it left me wondering if any of the the band members besides Mike Love and Bruce Johnston would ever get together again. Brian Wilson answered that question by inviting a couple of the "Boys" to join him for the kick-off of a summer tour.According to ABC Entertainment News, The Beach Boys Al Jardine and David Marks will appear as special guests with Wilson at the July 25 concert at the Fraze Pavillion in Dayton, Ohio. The complete tour schedule has yet to be released, nor has anything been said about Jardine and Marks being involved in any future shows.

Jardine and Marks were part  of last year's anniversary tour, as well as in the recording of the band's latest studio album, "That's Why God Made the Radio".  The anniversary tour ended when Mike Love and Bruce Johnston went back to touring with their pre-50th anniversary Beach Boys lineup, which doesn't include Wilson, Jardine or Marks.

Whether any of this opens the door for a future Beach Boys reunion no one knows for sure. It does however, prove some of the members of the band are still agreeable to performing together and that gives us a least a little hope.
