Bob Barker Returns to the Price is Right at Age 90

At age 90, Bob Barker is returning for a guest appearance on The Price Is Right, the television game show he hosted for 35 years.CBS made the announcement on Tuesday that Barker will present a special showcase on the episode airing December 12th, which happens to be his birthday.It's been six years since Barker stepped down as the host of The Price is Right and was replaced by Drew Carey. For diehard fans of the show who love Bob, his return will be a welcome sight, although the show continues to be daytime's #1 rated show.

CBS also says that during the week there will be special emphasis on pet adoptions, in honor of Barker's long-time involvement in animal activism.

Over the years, I have won thousands of dollars in prizes on The Price is Right. Of course, I was sitting in my living room playing along with the television. But, I could have won cars, boats, trips, living room furniture, and a foosball table.

The Price is Right is a great game show, because it's easy to play at home. The only part that  folks at home have trouble with is spinning the big wheel.Still, it's fun to see exactly where the wheel is going to stop.

I haven't watched the show for a long time, but I am setting the DVR to record the December 12th episode, if for no other reason than to see what Bob Barker looks like at age 90.
