The dominance of the Baltimore Ravens in the first half of this year's big game gave my family reason to pay attention more to the commercials than the game itself, which may be part of the reason why two of our favorite commercials game from the first half. Of course, there were other reasons to pick these as our most memorable. The "Prom" commercial gave us all reason to cheer for the underdog. The kid's black eye and the look on the prom queen's face after the kiss were priceless.

Take an M&M, (my favorite candy), Naya Rivera from 'Glee', (one of my daughter's favorite shows) and a number one hit from Meat Loaf, "I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)" and it's a winner!

A Clydesdale pony with the musical accompaniment of Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide" summed up in three words, "That's Sooo Cute!"

One of the most moving commercials was the "Whole Again" halftime spot. It's not only an amazing tribute to our military, but reveals what their families wish and wait for back home. If you missed it, let's just say you'll probably be wiping and wiping away more tears. Wow!
