Atlas the Humanoid Robot is Amazing But Extremely Creepy

Technology today is advancing at an incredible rate, as evidenced by the latest version of Atlas the humanoid robot, which is completely amazing, but extremely creepy.

Atlas is created by Boston Dynamics and has the ability to do simple tasks like loading shelves and walking through snow.

Fans of the Terminator movie series will appreciate the physical human-like traits of Atlas as they relate to motion. You might even feel a twinge of sympathy as you watch him get 'bullied' by a handler. Of course, if this were a movie, Atlas would go get 20 of his humanoid friends and they would come back and tear the handler to shreds.

We might not be ready for terminator status yet, but this latest robot takes us one step closer to the 'rise of the machines.'
