The spirit of  kindness we so often see during the holiday season is extending to touch the hungry bellies of Grand Valley pets.

Tiara Rado Animal Hospital has launched it's third annual pet food drive, which benefits families served by the community food bank who have pets.

According to Community Food Bank Director Darcy Johnson, the food bank was able to feed pets for almost an entire year with donations from last year's drive. It is easy to forget that people in need have pets, too.

What is really cool is that pet food donations during the food drive will be matched, by TRAH, which doubles the amount of donations of dog and cat food.

Donations of food and cash can be dropped off at the Tiara Rado Animal Hospital  at 2245 3/4 Broadway between 8:00AM and 5:30PM Monday through Friday.
