Adams County Deputy Killed, One Suspect Captured

A confrontation north of Denver has claimed the life of an Adams County Deputy.  Heath Gumm, a 32 year old Sheriff's Deputy was shot in the chest when he responded to an assault in progress.

One of the suspects was captured but the other two are still at large. Multiple agencies are involved in finding these other two.

A donation site has been set up for the family of Deputy Hamm by the Fraternal Order of Police.
